The 6th annual Creativity Expo 2009, featuring works of people with traumatic or acquired brain injury, will be held July 11-22 at Raritan Valley Community College. The ehibition will be held in the art gallery at the college's North Branch main campus. The exhibit will feature the creative works of more than 50 brain injury survivors.
An opening day artists' reception will be held Saturday, July 11, at noon. In addition to the visual arts and crafts presentations, the opening day program will feature poetry and prose readings, as well as musical presentations. Refreshments will be provided.
The Creativity Expo continues to grow by tapping into an unmet need for creative expression in the brain injury community. The Creativity Expo is designed to promote individual growth for the artists, and it provides a rich professional arts experience for each presenter and the public. Although the event is non-profit and is primarily for educational and entertainment purposes, artwork will be available for purchase.
