Woman Charged with Property Damage
Detective Paul Bate has recently charged Jennifer Palner, age 33, of Allentown, PA with 3rd degree Criminal Mischief. The charge stems from an incident at McDonalds on Center Street on Memorial Day.
On May 25, 2009, at approximately 11:05 am, Patrolman Umair Latif responded to McDonalds for a report of property damage. Upon arrival, the Manager advised Ptl. The Manager noticed that the screen to the video game machine was cracked. He attempted to stop the group as they fled in a vehicle but was unsuccessful. He was, however, able to obtain the Pennsylvania license plate number to the vehicle and forward it to police.
After interviewing witnesses and viewing surveillance footage, Detective Bate filed the charge against Ms. Palner, who has not yet been arrested. The value of the damage was estimated to be $2.000.xx.
