It is not uncommon for many adults to wait longer than necessary
to have their hearing checked. As soon as my hearing loss became
known to me twenty years ago, I quickly made an appointment for a
hearing test with a nearby audiologist. It is surprising to me
when I hear of someone waiting 2, 5 or more years before making
that appointment simply to find out if they have a hearing loss
or not.
