Subaru “Share the Love” event for Meals On Wheels
MEALS ON WHEELS OF NORTHAMPTON COUNTY WILL TEAM UP WITH FAULKNER SUBARU TO "SHARE THE LOVE" WITH NORTHAMPTON COUNTY SENIORS IN NEED
WHO: In celebration of the seventh annual Subaru "Share the Love" event, Meals On Wheels of Northampton County is proud to announce its partnership, for the second year in a row, with Faulkner Subaru in Bethlehem for the holiday season to help put an end to senior hunger. Meals On Wheels will be "Stuffing a Subaru" with white paper bags (depicting our cold bag dinners) and consumers have the opportunity to guess how many stuffed white bags are in the car. They can enter their guess in a box at the Faulkner Subaru dealership where the MOW sign is displayed. The persons guessing the closest to the number correctly will each win a $100 Visa gift card. Two prizes will be awarded. This local effort is part of the Meals On Wheels Association of America's participation in the national Subaru of America, Inc. "Share the Love" event, designed as a way for Subaru dealers to give back to their local communities.
As a proud Subaru "Share the Love" event charitable partner, local Meals On Wheels Member programs that partner with Subaru dealerships are eligible to earn grants for their organization. This can provide much needed support to help provide nutritious meals to homebound seniors in Northampton County.
WHAT: As part of a national partnership with the Meals On Wheels Association of America, Subaru will donate $250 to the purchaser's choice of participating charity - one of which is Meals On Wheels - for every new vehicle sold or leased from November 20, 2014, through January 2, 2015. By the end of this, the seventh "Share the Love" event, Subaru will have donated $50 million to charity - including the delivery of one million meals to seniors in need.
