Is CLUTTER slowing your cognitive ability?

In a recent article published in Georgia Tech's online NEWS CENTER, Jason Maderer, Media Relations Representative the Georgia Institute of Technologyshares insights as to why some things escape our memory. A new study conducted at Georgia Tech found "that older people struggle to remember important details because their brains can't resist the irrelevant "stuff" they soak up subconsciously. As a result, they tend to be less confident in their memories."

Using EEG technology to exam brain activity the study found that "clutter" is one of the reasons that seniors are more susceptible to manipulation and often less confident about things remembered.
