Revised traffic pattern

Beginning on Monday, January 9, 2023, the Hillside Police Department will be implementing a revised traffic pattern. Leslie Street will be a one-way street traveling northbound from Hillside Avenue towards Winans Avenue during school hours only. Parents will be permitted to drop off on the yellow curb in front of Ola Edwards Community School on Leslie Street. Parents are to REMAIN IN THEIR CAR so that there is a steady flow of traffic. Once your child has exited the car, second, third, and fourth grade students will enter through the front first door by the cafeteria. Fifth and sixth grade students will enter through the third front door. Parents will not be permitted to double park, block driveways, leave cars unattended in the middle of the roadway or park in the back parking lot. Circle Drive WILL NOT be available for parent drop off or pick up. ONLY BUSES will be permitted to enter Circle Drive. Pick up will follow the same procedures; second, third, and fourth will be dismissed from the front of the building. Fifth and sixth grade will be dismissed from the back of the building and walk around towards the front of the school. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.
