Hunterdon Medical Center will host the 3rd Annual Latino Health Fair on Saturday, November 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hunterdon Medical Center, 1st floor lobby. Free screenings including blood pressure checks, Body Mass Index, Diabetes and Cardiac Risk Assessment and more will be available at the fair. Also free flu shots will also be available for adults and children. Learn about Hunterdon Medical Center programs and services as well as local agencies in the community. All attendees will receive a physician resource guide from Hunterdon Medical Center which was made possible through a grant from Merck.
Elizabeth Koorie, M.D., Family Practice Physician at Hunterdon Medical Center will give a presentation entitled “Ask the Doctor” from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in the Auditorium at the hospital. Ivonne Kyle, RN will speak about “Bed Bugs” from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 a.m.
In addition, Bright Tomorrows Child Care Center will host an indoor Baby Yard Sale during the fair. Used toys, clothing, high chairs and more. All proceeds benefit Bright Tomorrows Child Care Center at Hunterdon Medical Center.
Spanish Interpreters will be available. The Link will provide a shuttle pick up at 10 a.m. from St. John’s Church in Lambertville to Hunterdon Medical Center and then back to Lambertville after 2:00 p.m. For more information call Maria Montano, Latino Outreach Coordinator at 908-237-7039.
