Friendly Grounds Coffee House is under new ownership. Edward and Dana Ryan became the new owners of the establishment in October of 2007. With the new owners comes some modern additions, while keeping the layed back charm of the Coffee House they have added several flat screen televisions and free WIFI with the purchase of a cup of coffee. In addition to gourmet coffee, we also offer loose leaf tea, hot chocolate, bagels, pastries, homemade gourmet soup and decadent desserts. We just recently launched our "keepin' it simply" breakfast and a lite lunch which is offered daily. Come by on Friday or Saturday nights and enjoy live music from a wide variety of musicians. You can also enjoy our cozy seating area where a wide variety of books and games are offered. Business meetings are often held in our dining room, and we also reserve tables for parties. Friendly Grounds Coffee House is proud to announce three new addtions to their drink menu.

BUBBLE TEA: Bubble Tea, also known as Boba Tea, Pearl Tea, Milk Tea and çç å¥¶èŒ¶. Part refreshing drink, party dessert snack, this tea is unlike any you've had before. Our bubble tea comes in a wide variety of fruity flavors including, peach, passion fruit, mango, banana, and strawberry. But the unique part of this tea does not only lie in the flavors but in the chewy tapioca pearls. These pearls are about the size of small marbles and they sink to the bottom of your cup. This tea is usually served with a gigantic straw just the right size for slurping up these gummy treats.

ITALIAN SODAS: An Italian Soda is a refreshing mix of flavored syrup and sparkling water. Choose from our wide variety of syrup flavors including cherry, almond, hazelnut, chocolate, Irish cream, marshmallow, caramel, raspberry, etc... Can't choose just one? Mix them and name your own drink! With the addition of half and half or cream your Italian Soda becomes a Creamosa, or French Soda.

BROOKLYN EGG CREAMS: This old-time New York thirst-quencher is sweet and full of fizz. Despite its name, the egg cream contains neither eggs nor cream. In the beginning, it was a soda produced almost exclusively in New York (particularly Brooklyn). The basic ingredients are milk, seltzer, and chocolate syrup. It is traditionally made in a small Coke-style glass. True New Yorkers insist that it is perfectly proper to gulp down an egg cream. In fact, egg cream will lose its head and become flat if it is not enjoyed immediately.
