About Us

Maintain Your Independence, LLC (MYI) provides products, services and information that enable seniors to remain independent and stay in their homes. We call it aging gracefully in place. Our customers call it confidence in access to emergency medical care and peace of mind that they or their loved ones are being taken care of 24/7. They no longer need to be concerned that they might fall and be unable to move for hours or even days.

The Maintain Your Independence Story.

In 2007, my mother-in-law kept falling while home alone. With her COPD and weakened medical condition, she could not get up on her own and had a very difficult time recovering from her falls. A very independent senior who lived in Florida, Mom refused to move. Since my wife and I are located in the Lehigh Valley, PA, we decided medical alert equipment was what we needed to help Mom and give us the peace of mind that she’d be safe. At the time, I was aware of only one company offering a service like this. It was a three-year contract and cost $50.00 per month. I paid it gladly.

Just after signing the contract, I began hearing complaints about the company. Scary things – like not being able to get out of the contract even if the client passed away. This concerned me and I began to do some investigating into the medical alert equipment industry. I looked at other companies that offered alert products. My goal was to keep other families from experiencing problems while trying to keep their senior safe.

I found a local company in Pennsylvania that looked good so I went to meet the owner. What did I discover? A company providing reliable, quality medical alarms with the ability to service seniors for less money (less than $1.00 per day) and no long term commitments! I knew this was the company that would benefit seniors the most, so I started Maintain Your Independence. Today, I sell and install medical alert units using this company’s products in the Lehigh Valley, Slate Belt area, Poconos and western New Jersey.

My dad has since passed away and my own Mom lives alone now. She wears her medical alarm pendant all the time.

I feel better and so does she.

Call today at 484-515-4683 to see how you can feel safer too.

When you work with me, you’ll receive 24/7 customer service, an excellent and reasonably-priced product as well as lots of perks. Bonuses like free shipping, extra pendants, and my cell number should you ever have any questions. Rest assured that I will always answer any questions you have – and I won’t sell you a service unless I think it meets your needs.
