Friendly Grounds Coffee House is holding their 2nd Family Music Fest Saturday, June 27th from 1pm-10pm. In addition to live music, there will be events for the whole family such as face painting, pony rides, tarot card readings and more. Also, delicious BBQ dogs and burgers will be offerd as well as some local venodors, enough to fit everyone's needs. There is no addmisson, just come with your family and enjoy aq nice day out! Friendly Grounds Coffee House is proud to announce three new addtions to their drink menu.

BUBBLE TEA: Bubble Tea, also known as Boba Tea, Pearl Tea, Milk Tea and Ã§Â�Â�Ã§Â�Â Ã¥Â¥Â¶Ã¨Å�Â¶. Part refreshing drink, party dessert snack, this tea is unlike any you've had before. Our bubble tea comes in a wide variety of fruity flavors including, peach, passion fruit, mango, banana, and strawberry. But the unique part of this tea does not only lie in the flavors but in the chewy tapioca pearls. These pearls are about the size of small marbles and they sink to the bottom of your cup. This tea is usually served with a gigantic straw just the right size for slurping up these gummy treats.

ITALIAN SODAS: An Italian Soda is a refreshing mix of flavored syrup and sparkling water. Choose from our wide variety of syrup flavors including cherry, almond, hazelnut, chocolate, Irish cream, marshmallow, caramel, raspberry, etc... Can't choose just one? Emmy Award-winning host of The Amazing Race visits Friendly Grounds

Friendly Grounds Coffee House was visited Thursday May 7th by Phil Keoghan, the Emmy Award-winning host of The Amazing Race. Mr. Keoghan was in the final stages of a coast-to-coast bicycle ride, which he undertook to raise money to fight Multiple Sclerosis. He has been on the road, covering more than 100 miles on a typical day. During his visit to the cafe today he recorded his daily video blog, which airs on his web site, <a href="http://www.philridesacrossamerica.com">www.philridesacrossamerica.com</a>. In addition, there is a good possibility that Friendly Grounds will be aired The Bonnie Hunt Show, since they were also doing a web cast at the café that was being taped for a future program.

Here's a little info about me. I was born in Far Rockaway, NY (Queens) and moved to and grew up in Joisey when I was 2. Was humming songs before I could talk according to my mom. Began developing my voice more professionally after seeing Les Miserables on Broadway back in 1988. Graduated with BA in Music from William Paterson. Worked at Quad recording studios before deciding to get into web development work. These days, I'm singing all kinds of styles from classic rock, punk, hard rock, pop, theater, and Opera. I have also been playing guitar and keyboards and hope to have some originals up after I become more proficient at recording them. The following songs on this site which get updated regularly demostrate the versatility and range in my vocals and styles. I am actively looking to start hosting Open Mics as well as getting regular gigs. I most recently have completed what I believe is my best recording to this point One Day More from Les Miserables. I sang every male part (including the chorus parts) and this woman Alexandra Haas performed all the female parts (including the chorus parts). It took 4 separate evenings to record and about a good week and half to finally get the right mixing done. After my first few attempts at mixing it, I wasn't totally thrilled so I tried mixing it at a recording studio and liked some parts of it, but other parts I didn't so I went back and mixed it myself using my home setup to what I think is the best version.
