Friendly Grounds Coffee House is holding their 2nd Family Music Fest Saturday, June 27th from 1pm-10pm. In addition to live music, there will be events for the whole family such as face painting, pony rides, tarot card readings and more. Also, delicious BBQ dogs and burgers will be offerd as well as some local venodors, enough to fit everyone's needs. There is no addmisson, just come with your family and enjoy aq nice day out! This event will be held rain or shine!

Here's a little info about me. I was born in Far Rockaway, NY (Queens) and moved to and grew up in Joisey when I was 2. Was humming songs before I could talk according to my mom. Began developing my voice more professionally after seeing Les Miserables on Broadway back in 1988. Graduated with BA in Music from William Paterson. Worked at Quad recording studios before deciding to get into web development work. These days, I'm singing all kinds of styles from classic rock, punk, hard rock, pop, theater, and Opera. I have also been playing guitar and keyboards and hope to have some originals up after I become more proficient at recording them. The following songs on this site which get updated regularly demostrate the versatility and range in my vocals and styles. I am actively looking to start hosting Open Mics as well as getting regular gigs. I most recently have completed what I believe is my best recording to this point One Day More from Les Miserables. I sang every male part (including the chorus parts) and this woman Alexandra Haas performed all the female parts (including the chorus parts). It took 4 separate evenings to record and about a good week and half to finally get the right mixing done. After my first few attempts at mixing it, I wasn't totally thrilled so I tried mixing it at a recording studio and liked some parts of it, but other parts I didn't so I went back and mixed it myself using my home setup to what I think is the best version.

Alternative/Jam Band Once upon a time, Francis liked to jam. The school picnic was approaching, and he met a boy named Chris. They agreed to rock some sweet Dispatch. When the picnic coordinator asked them the name of their band for registry purposes, Chris quickly responded, "Me and Chris Idell Band." The band agreed they'd get around to changing the name later. They never did. Two years and twenty songs later, they joined up with their drummer, Ryan, and have been rocking hard since.
